"GOD
IS LOVE,
LOVE EVER GIVEN
AND
RECEIVED,
LOVE SHARED."
As Daughters of the Holy Spirit, this is our core
belief and experience, the source of our togetherness, the wellspring
of our service. |
"The
love of God has been poured out into our hearts through
the Holy Spirit who has been given to us."

Are you searching for a way to share the
love the Spirit has put in your heart? Perhaps we can help you
to find one.

Rooted in a vital Trinitarian spirituality, we
are called, like Mary, to reverence in a special way the presence
and power of the Holy Spirit in ourselves, in others and in all
creation. Living in the Spirit of Pentecost, we continue the
mission of the Risen Christ through our simple presence, humble
gestures and collaborative efforts. Together we are sent forth
in Gospel boldness to witness God's tender love for all, especially
the least favored, "that all may have life and have it to
the full."

We are an international congregation of vowed women religious
who believe that the Spirit of God, poured out at Pentecost,
is present
and
at
work today creating a world of justice and love. In response
to the Spirit's invitation to participate in this work, we weave
with our lives a web of relationships marked by simple presence
and collaboration with others. In this spirit, we welcome among
us Consecrated Seculars and men and women Associates with whom
we form the DHS Family.
Ours is a spirit of gentle compassion and humble service. In
a special way, we try to welcome into our circle of care and
concern those of the Earth community whose dignity is not respected,
whose voice is not heard. We look to Mary, woman totally surrendered
to the Spirit, as our model and advocate, as we work to create
with others an ever-expanding circle of love. |
